Very often, the morning fog prevents the visitors from seeing the first light but, after a while, a magical and mysterious atmosphere is revealed and the light starts playing with the fog... I had a luminous experience while meditating there years ago and decided to come back alone with my camera.

It is the one that appears behind the Inca City in the classic postcard photo of Machu Picchu. It can be scary for people with fear of heights.This is a view from the top of Machu Picchu Mountain, which offers less steep but higher, wider and visually less frightening roads than Huayna Picchu.
